Start date of ManageMe involvement: 15 April 2025
The Problem
Before ManageMe came on board, Propertyscouts Manukau was active on social media, but engagement levels remained modest.
While content was being posted regularly, video performance was weak, watch time was low, and there was limited clarity around which content types were actually driving engagement.
Performance before ManageMe
Meta Business Suite insights from 13 December 2022 to 15 April 2025 showed:
- 40 three-second video views
- 0 one-minute video views
- 598 content interactions
- 16 minutes 24 seconds of total watch time
Despite reasonable posting volume, performance remained flat.
“We were active on social media, but we lacked insight into what was truly engaging our audience.”

The Solution
ManageMe began working with Propertyscouts Manukau on 15 April 2025, starting with a performance audit and a competitor engagement review within the property management space.
Competitor content analysis
As part of our onboarding process, ManageMe created and reviewed competitor-style posts to analyse engagement patterns across similar brands.
The results showed a clear trend:
- The most engaging posts were updates about the client, including business news and milestones
- Events and behind-the-scenes content consistently performed well
- Work anniversaries and team celebrations generated strong interaction
- Photos and videos featuring property managers themselves achieved the highest engagement
In contrast, posts that were heavily branded or purely informational, such as FYI graphics and generic announcements, consistently showed the lowest engagement.
This confirmed that audiences were far more responsive to human, relatable content than polished branding.

Strategic content shift
Based on these insights, we reshaped Propertyscouts Manukau’s content strategy to prioritise authenticity and connection.
The new approach focused on:
- Featuring property managers and team members in content
- Sharing client updates, events, and work anniversaries
- Reducing low-impact branded or FYI-style posts
- Maintaining a consistent posting schedule guided by performance data
Platform expansion recommendation
In addition to optimising existing channels, ManageMe also recommended creating a TikTok account to support future growth.
TikTok was identified as a strong opportunity to:
- Share short form new listing videos
- Increase visibility beyond existing followers
- Reach a broader, younger audience
- Support organic engagement through video-first content
This recommendation was made to complement the existing strategy and provide an additional channel for high-performing video content.
The Results
The impact of this strategy was clear and measurable.
Using Meta Business Suite insights from 15 April 2025 to 13 January 2026, Propertyscouts Manukau experienced strong growth across all key performance indicators.

Organic vs paid performance
- 35,977 views from organic content
